Power Relays

A power relay is an electrical switch that controls the flow of high-current or high-voltage power to a load, typically in industrial, automotive, or household applications. It uses an electromagnet to open or close its contacts, allowing or interrupting the connection between the power source and the load. Power relays are designed to handle larger currents and voltages than standard relays, and they often control devices such as motors, lights, heating systems, or other high-power equipment. They are commonly used in circuits where the control system (such as a low-power microcontroller) needs to manage high-power devices safely and efficiently.
